So tonight’s episode of the new Will & Grace was the most heart-wrenching episode ever. It was called “Rosario’s Quinceanera” and it honored the life of Rosario. I had wondered how they would proceed without Rosie and this was the episode that explained it all.
So yes, if you haven’t figured it out, they killed her off the show. Granted, Shelly Morrison, the actress who played Rosario, had stated that she wouldn’t be joining the cast in the reboot. She apparently went through a bunch of health-related problems and chose not to return.
It was really such a well done episode. It mainly focused on Karen and how she truly loved her maid and friend. She was so distraught with the fact that she lost her, that in the whole episode Karen was kind of in denial. At the end, she finally came to accept the truth and you really saw her emotions come out. It was such a touching episode that I cried. That Megan Mullally did such an amazing job!
