So I was recently displaced from my home due to a small fire that we had in our house. Thankfully, we were blessed to be put up in a local hotel by our insurance company. Anyway, I got a room to myself and had soon learned that I’d be calling it my new home for a month. I ended up bringing my Apple TV and began to enjoy the comforts of Netflix.
To be honest, I had heard drips and drabs about Sense8 but never really took it to mind. Now that I was DVR-less and really had no choice but to watch whatever I could using my AppleTV, and having some friends on Facebook post about the show, I decided to give it a try.
I didn’t even know that the show was considered a “Gay & Lesbian Drama,” not that it’s a requirement for me or anything. I simply found it and launched the pilot episode. At first I wasn’t sure what I was watching, but once I got into it, it intrigued my love for science-fiction shows. The concept was amazing, the cinematography was done so well and to top it off, there was some amazing sex scenes in the first episode. I. Was. Hooked. I ended up watching the second episode the same night.
As I’d come home from my second job, I’d watch one episode, sometimes two. It was just SO GOOD. I ended up bingeing the first season and got it done within a week. I loved everything about it, especially where we got to see a penis. It was so beautiful, in all its glory. It was the icing on the cake for me. LOL
I’m so obsessed with the show. I legit wish I could be a part of all their lives. I want to be best friends with them all. All of the guys are hot and the story line is so intriguing to me. They just released Season 2 today and I’m so excited to see what happens next. If you haven’t watched the show, take a look. It’s truly amazing!
